Description
Our Naturel Beeswax is produced by local Australian honey growers and is not bleached in any way.
Our Naturel Beeswax is filtered four times to produce a beautiful natural wax which results in a beautiful natural colour.
The colour of bees wax is determined by the area the bees live in, this determines the plants that are available to the bees, and this therefore gives variation to the colour and natural fragrance of the wax.
Melting range of bees wax : 62-64 degrees Celsius
Overheating bees wax ( > 85 degrees Celsius) when making candles can cause the wax to darken as well as lose it’s honey fragrance
Our Naturel Beeswax is a blend of the below waxes
Capping Wax
The wax used by the bees to seal up the honeycomb, this is a very light coloured wax, and also has a delicate honey fragrance.
Honeycomb Wax
The wax that is in contact with the actual honey, this has a richer golden colour, and thus has a richer honey fragrance.
